On Wednesday 23 September 2026, Moroccan women and men are called to the polls to elect the members of the House of Representatives. In total, 15,801,162 voters are registered on the general electoral lists. The vote will determine the allocation of the Chamber’s 395 seats.
To make it easier for voters to get to the right place, the Ministry of the Interior provides three official tools to quickly find your polling station: SMS, the electoral lists portal and the MonBV mobile app.
2026 polling station: SMS service at 2727
The first option does not require any Internet connection.
You simply send a free SMS to 2727 with your National Identity Card (CIN) number.
In response, the voter receives several pieces of information. The message indicates your position number on the electoral list, the commune or constituency where you are registered, as well as the number and address of your polling station.
This solution also works on a basic mobile phone.
The listeselectorales.ma portal to check your registration
Voters can also use the official portal www.listeselectorales.ma.
After entering their CIN number and date of birth, they can view their electoral information.
The portal shows the position number on the electoral list, the commune or constituency of registration, as well as the polling station’s number and address.
This online service lets you confirm your polling station before heading to vote.
MonBV: locate your polling station on a map
The third tool is the mobile application MonBV.
Once downloaded, the user enters their CIN number and date of birth. The app then displays the information related to their electoral registration.
It goes further than SMS and the web portal. MonBV also allows users to view the geographical location of the polling station and the route to get there. This tool is particularly useful for voters who know their polling address but want to see precisely where it is on the map.
Three ways to find your polling station
Voters therefore have three options before going to the polls:
- SMS to 2727: send your CIN number;
- listeselectorales.ma: enter your CIN number and date of birth;
- MonBV: enter the same details and access the exact location of your polling station.
In addition, the administrative authorities distributed notices indicating the location of polling stations up to 22 September at 6 p.m.. However, this notice is not required for voting. The National Identity Card remains the official document needed to prove your identity on election day.
15.8 million registered voters
This Wednesday’s election concerns an electorate of 15,801,162 people.
Men account for 54% of registered voters, compared with 46% for women. In addition, 55% of registered voters live in urban areas and 45% in rural areas.
Voters are called to elect the 395 members of the House of Representatives by direct universal suffrage, using a list-based proportional representation system.
Before you go, check your polling station
To avoid any issues on election day, it is strongly recommended to check your polling station before you travel.
The 2727 SMS service is the simplest option if you do not have Internet access. The listeselectorales.ma portal lets you check your details online. Finally, MonBV adds a map with the exact location and route.
Together, these three tools provide voters with all the information they need to identify their polling station and go to the right place for the legislative elections on 23 September 2026.
