SELF-EMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS & VERY SMALL BUSINESSES
DAMANE EXPRESS
This is a guarantee for companies incorporated under Moroccan law that are engaged in the production of goods or the provision of services*, in the following cases:
- Short-, medium- and long-term bank loans and finance leases of up to 1 MDH;
- Honour loans not exceeding 300,000 DH.
The guarantee covers 70 per cent of the principal amount of the loan. This is increased to 80 per cent for businesses in which one or more women hold a majority stake.
Please note that Damane Express charges a guarantee fee (minimum of 200 DH excluding VAT per transaction), calculated on the basis of the loan amount, at the following rates:
- Short-term bank loan (term ≤ 12 months): 0.5% (excl. VAT);
- Medium- and long-term bank loans, finance leases, interest-free loans: 1.5% (excluding VAT).
Applications for Damane Express are made through banks, leasing companies or via approved organisations.
* Excluding property development and deep-sea fishing.
