This is a non-repayable grant of 10 per cent, capped at 5 MDH, of the total investment amount for any new* eligible project involving the establishment or expansion of a business in Morocco, led by a Moroccan living abroad (MRE)**.

The investment must be at least 1 MDH, and the MRE’s equity contribution must amount to at least 20 per cent of this sum.

The MDM Invest contribution covers projects relating to the sectors of industry, education, transport and logistics, energy, the green economy, information and digital technologies, crafts, the production of local specialities, tourist accommodation and activities, and healthcare.

Applications to MDM Invest are made through banks.

* Projects carried out before the application was submitted are excluded.

** Holders of a valid residence permit, foreign identity document or consular card. Moroccans living abroad (MREs) who have returned permanently no more than one year prior to the date of submission of the application are also eligible.
