Domestic flights within Morocco are mainly operated by Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia Maroc. Ryanair will begin operating domestic flights within Morocco from summer 2024.
When travelling between domestic airports, your identity card is sufficient. As for luggage, you must comply with the size and weight limits specified by your airline (particularly for hand luggage).
Your hand luggage must pass through an X-ray scanner and may also be subject to a manual search. If you have a pacemaker or any other implanted medical device (such as insulin pumps or even certain types of hearing aids), please inform the security officer and do not walk through the security gate.
As regards the time limits to be observed, it is recommended that you arrive well in advance. As a general rule, it is advisable to arrive at the airport two hours before your flight’s departure time.
Airports, routes and timetables
ONDA allows you to check flight arrival and departure times for today or for a date of your choice. You can search by date, airport, city of departure and/or destination, and by airline (see the ‘Timetable Guide’ link).
Canal212 provides a list of Moroccan airports connected by domestic flights in both directions (see Domestic flights: airports and routes), as well as the airlines operating these services. These routes serve the following cities: Agadir, Al Hoceima, Casablanca, Dakhla, Errachidia, Fez, Guelmim, Laayoune, Marrakech, Nador, Ouarzazate, Oujda, Rabat, Tan Tan, Tangier, Tetouan and Zagora.
