The ceremony at the Tanaghmelt Nassiria zawiya, in the commune of Aït Taguella, was held in an atmosphere of piety and contemplation. The royal donation was handed to the chorfas and disciples of the zawiya during a religious gathering marked by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

The royal commission then moved to the Bassiria zawiya, in the commune of Béni Ayat, for a similar ceremony. There too, the royal donation was presented to the chorfas and followers of the zawiya, in the presence of local notables and faithful.

These two ceremonies, framed by the Azilal royal donations, were attended by the governor of Azilal province, Hassan Zitouni, the president of the local council of ulema, the provincial delegate for Islamic affairs, as well as zawiya sheikhs, elected officials and civil and military figures.

Prayers were offered for Amir Al Mouminine, King Mohammed VI, asking God to support his efforts for the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom. Participants also prayed for blessings upon Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid and the Royal Family.

Prayers were said for the souls of the late Kings Mohammed V and Hassan II, asking God to grant them His mercy, in line with a long tradition of loyalty to former sovereigns.
