The Groupe BCP TPE has earned a new international accolade in banking. On 11 September 2026 in Istanbul, Banque Centrale Populaire received the award for “Best Bank for Entrepreneurship & TPE Development in Morocco for the Year 2026.”
The honor was presented by the World Union of Arab Bankers (WUAB) as part of the Arab Banks Awards & Commendations of Excellence. It recognizes the bank’s work supporting entrepreneurship and the development of very small enterprises (TPE) in Morocco.

The ceremony took place in Istanbul with representatives from across the Arab banking sector in attendance.
Wissam Fattouh, secretary general of the WUAB, presented the trophy to Mourad Azzam, senior director in charge of the TPE, merchants and artisans market, and to Hassan Charraf, secretary general of the Fondation Création d’Entreprises.
The award highlights two pillars of the group’s support: financing and broader assistance to entrepreneurs.
