CREATIVE PROCESSES

BUSINESS TAX, TAX REGISTRATION, TRADE REGISTER AND CNSS

Business rates and tax registration

Applications for business rates registration and tax registration must be made to the Regional Tax Office, via the CRI responsible for the company’s registered office. This mandatory procedure enables the company to obtain its tax registration details.

NB: You must register for business rates within 30 days of the date on which you start trading.

Commercial Register

Registration with the Commercial Register is compulsory. It enables the company to exist in legal terms and to be assigned a registration number. This formality is carried out at the Commercial Court, via the CRI (Regional Commercial Information Centre) responsible for the company’s registered office, at a cost of around 350 DH for legal entities and 150 DH for individuals.

CNSS

Registration with the social security system is compulsory. This procedure, which provides you with a registration number (to be used for payroll declarations, contribution payments, etc.), must be carried out at the CNSS (the branch responsible for your registered office). Detailed information on the documents required for registration is available via this link.
