Travelling by plane requires a bit of preparation and planning. Here is a reminder of a few tips to help ensure you have a pleasant, stress-free journey.

Booking your flight in advance allows you to take advantage of the best fares on the dates of your choice. To find out which airlines fly to Morocco (by destination airport), please see our ‘Airlines flying to Morocco’ section.

Once you have chosen your airline and made the payment, your ticket is confirmed. Virtually all airlines now use e-tickets. The advantage of an e-ticket is that it allows you to download your boarding pass online a few days before your travel date. You’ll only need to go to the check-in desk at the airport if you have any hold luggage to check in.

Of course, boarding passes can also be issued directly at the check-in desk or via the self-service kiosks at the airport.

With regard to the time limits to be observed, it is recommended that you arrive at the airport early enough to check in your luggage and complete all police and security formalities. As a general rule, it is advisable to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight’s departure time.

The check-in and boarding deadlines are approximately 40 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively, before the flight’s scheduled departure time.

Please note: 

• Delays are common when travelling by air. It is therefore important to be prepared for changes to timetables and to ensure you allow plenty of time, especially if you have connecting flights.
